EC2, Lambda, S3, Aurora, DynamoDB, EKS, ECS, KMS, GuardDuty, SageMaker, Bedrock). Separate IAM, billing in euro, dedicated DNS domain (.amazonaws.eu), own Certificate Authority. Contracting party: AWS EMEA SARL. Pricing: ~15% premium over commercial EU regions. Known gaps at launch: CloudFront, GPU instances, IAM Identity Center, Inspector, Shield Advanced. AWS also announces Local Zones for Belgium, the Netherlands and Portugal (no specific date).
